About Tru

Hey Sweets,

Welcome to Magnolia Tru—a space where truth, growth, and self-love take center stage. I’m Tru, the voice behind this blog, and I’m so glad you’re here.

Magnolia Tru is my baby, and I plan to nurture it as such. This isn’t just a blog—it’s a reflection of my heart and soul, a place I take seriously and hold close. In my life’s journey, I’ve often been the one my loved ones reach out to for guidance. Through Magnolia Tru, I hope to extend that same care and insight to all who are open to receiving it.

Magnolia Tru was born in 2015 during a pivotal moment in my life. I had started resonating with the magnolia tree’s strength and beauty—it became a symbol of resilience and grace for me. Just as I was preparing to leave my hometown, my closest friends and I attended a painting event. The artist had us paint a magnolia tree, and in that moment, I knew it was confirmation.

Since then, Magnolia Tru has been a part of my journey in one form or another. I’ve started this blog twice before, but life had other plans. Now, I feel called back to it—called by God to use this space not only to share my story but to be a vessel for His plan. I trust His timing and am honored to continue this work, hoping it brings encouragement and clarity to anyone who visits.

This blog is a reflection of my healing journey—a journey filled with moments of grief, resilience, and rediscovering joy. Over the years, I’ve faced challenges that have shaped me: healing from trauma, navigating loss, and finding the courage to rebuild my life. Each step brought me closer to living in alignment with who I truly am.

Magnolia Tru is more than a blog; it’s a community. It’s a reminder that you’re never alone in your journey and that growth is always possible, even in the hardest seasons. My hope is that you leave this space feeling inspired, encouraged, and ready to bloom into the version of yourself you were always meant to be.

So whether you’re here to read, reflect, or simply find a little encouragement, know that you’re welcome just as you are. Together, we’ll embrace the messiness of life, celebrate our wins, and grow through it all.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s bloom together.

With love,
Tru
